The Clark County Commission on Aging has honored Carol Starbuck of Camas with the 2021 Silver Citizen Award in recognition of her valuable contributions to the community. At 77 years old, Starbuck volunteers with the Trauma Intervention Program Northwest to step forward and offer immediate support to loved ones in the midst of a crisis. She has responded to more than 241 scenes of tragedy and served 902 clients in Clark County. The awards ceremony will occur at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 17 and is open to all attendees by computer or phone.
