Next time you’re looking for an artful outdoor activity, visit www.cityofvancouver.us/ArtsMap and download one of Vancouver’s Arts and Activity Maps.

The maps, designed by Vancouver City Hall’s curator-in-residence Jess Graff, divide the city into different regions, showing illustrations of public artworks in each area, locations of nearby businesses and related puzzles or games.

“My hope with this project is both to highlight existing artwork owned by the city of Vancouver and also to encourage residents and visitors to explore galleries, local businesses, and privately owned artwork in the downtown area,” Graff said.

The two currently downloadable maps showcase two downtown Vancouver areas: West Eighth Street to Mill Plain Boulevard and Esther Short Park to Broadway. The third and final map will be available by year’s end.
