Letter: Ignorance is amplified

For a second day in a row anti-vaccine, anti-mask and anti-science yahoos are demonstrating in front of Skyview High School. They are using bullhorns to amplify their message of ignorance and anti-social behavior. One particular high-ranking denizen of “dopery” was marching up and down the sidewalk blowing an obnoxious air horn. This I suppose was an effort to disrupt the learning atmosphere in the school that he thinks is in jeopardy because of a mask requirement. The suggested response to this kind of toddler behavior is to listen and try to understand their issues. I say B.S. to that; they deserve exactly the same amount of respect that they are giving to the rest of the community: zero. In the immortal words of Forrest Gump: “Stupid is as stupid does.” God save us from ourselves!
