Nominees for Northwest Personal Training Week 1 high school athlete of the week

Here are the nominees for the Northwest Personal Training Week 1 high school athlete of the week.

Voting will continue until 7 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

Winners of the athlete-of-the-week may not be nominated again during the regular season, and no athlete may be nominated in consecutive weeks.

To avoid vote manipulation, voters must provide an email address. Votes are limited to one per day per email address.

Here are the nominees:

DANIEL BARNA, COLUMBIA RIVER BOYS CROSS COUNTRY: Barna won the Steve Maas Run-A-Ree by 10 seconds, winning in time of 15 minutes, 48 seconds.

MORGAN HARTER, RIDGEFIELD VOLLEYBALL: Harter averaged 30 assists, six digs, four aces and four kills in two wins for the Spudders.

ALLEN KIM, SKYVIEW BOYS GOLF: Kim shot a 1-under par 35 at Camas and a 3-under par 34 at Tri-Mountain.

LAURYN KRITH, MOUNTAIN VIEW GIRLS SOCCER: Krith had four goals and four assists in three wins for the Thunder.

ELLE THOMAS, WASHOUGAL GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY: Thomas won the Steve Maas Run-A-Ree by 17 seconds, winning in time of 19 minutes, 8 seconds.
