Jonathan Landry scored three touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough as the Plainsmen (2-1) dropped a non-league game in Chehalis.
Landry caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Jayden Crace to put Evergreen ahead 14-6 late in the first quarter.
Landry then scored on a 20-yard run to tie the game 21-21 shortly before halftime.
But W.F. West (2-1) scored 17 unanswered points to open the second half. Gavin Fugate had three touchdown passes, including scores of 59 and 37 yards, and ran for a TD.
Landry’s third touchdown, a 13-yard run, pulled Evergreen within 38-28 with 2:00 to play.
