High-powered Tenino spoils special night for Seton Catholic, 78-26

Cougars celebrate 10-year anniversary of program, first night football game

Lance Stuck caught three touchdown passes from Joe Callerame and Dax Clifton caught another, but it wasn’t enough to catch the potent Beavers as Tenino beat Seton Catholic 78-26 in non-league game at Seton.

Oregon State-bound Takari Hickle rushed for four touchdowns for Tenino. Tristan Whitaker and Dylan Spicer rushed for two scores each.

Stuck had two first-quarter TD catches as Seton traded touchdown with Tenino, but trailed 16-14. Clifton’s touchdown in the second quarter got Seton with 24-20, but then Tenino added three more touchdowns to lead 48-20 by halftime and never looked back.

Friday’s game marked the first night game at Seton Catholic since lights were installed last spring. The Cougars also celebrated the 10-year anniversary of the establishment of the football program at Seton.
