Greater Vancouver Chamber bestows 6 with awards

It announces its 2021 Business & Leadership Awards

The Greater Vancouver Chamber honored six individuals or businesses with the 2021 Business & Leadership Awards during a virtual ceremony on Wednesday.

Jennifer Rhoads, president of the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington, won the John S. McKibbin Leadership Award for her “rich history in a variety of positions in the financial sector leading up to her focus on philanthropy and efforts in interrupting poverty in the region while at the Community Foundation,” according to a news release from the chamber on Thursday.

The Horenstein Law Group won the Community Champion Award for “offering expertise and guidance to business owners as they navigated their way through the last year and a half, saving countless businesses.”

Delta Direct Care won the Small Business Award for providing vaccine pop-up clinics, among many ways of helping the community.

Clark County Public Health Officer Dr. Alan Melnick won the Statesperson Award for his work in advocating for the health of Clark County residents during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sprout Partners won the Start-Up to Watch Award for its “tenacity, vision, and strong business practices.”

LSW Architects won the Large Business Award for “creating a sustainable community through creative solutions and design.”
