Firefighters found a woman dead inside of a house fire in the Orchards neighborhood Saturday morning.
The Vancouver Fire Department responded around 2:20 a.m. to 14808 N.E. 83rd Street after a neighbor reported the house was on fire.
Firefighters found flames billowing out of first floor windows, according to the fire departments. Firefighters went inside to search for a resident after reports someone was inside. They found a woman deceased on the first floor, Vancouver fire stated.
Crews brought the fire under control in about 20 minutes. Nineteen firefighters from Vancouver fire and Clark County Fire District 3 responded. No firefighters were injured, according to the fire department.
