Jaydin Knapp and Gabe Martin scored touchdowns, but two second-half interceptions thwarted Skyview’s hope of picking up a non-league road win, falling 27-17 to Coeur d’Alene at Roos Field in Cheney.

After Coeur d’Alene drive the field for a 6-0 lead on its opening possession, Skyview responded with a 19-yard touchdown pass from Niko Arriola to Jaydin Knapp, giving the Storm a 7-6 lead.

After the Storm (3-1) got the ball back, they took the lead on a 27-yard field goal by Fedya Henrichs-Tarasenkov.

The Vikings answered with a touchdown to take a 13-10 lead into halftime.

Teddy Beaver’s 37-yard reception set up Martin’s 5-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, putting Skyview back up 17-10.

But the Vikings responded by driving the field for a 1-yard touchdown run to go back up 20-17.

The Storm had the ball twice with a chance to reclaim the lead, but an interception ended one drive, then the Vikings stopped the Storm on fourth down with about four minutes to play.

Rob Collier’s 7-yard touchdown run sealed the win for Coeur d’Alene (3-1).

Beaver finished with six catches for 80 yards for Skyview.
