Letter: Multiple uses for ivermectin

Showing a one-sided attack on the efficacy and safety of ivermectin, including ivermectin in a multi-drug protocol to treat COVID-19, is a prime example of corporate groupthink and propaganda.

Calling a drug that has had 3.7 billion doses administered to hundreds of millions of people in the last 30 years horse paste or animal dewormer smacks of pushing some other agenda. To have science politicized and not allow a rational discussion on the pros and cons of a treatment for COVID-19, especially in an outpatient setting, is totally disgusting and demonstrates that it is all about profit over people.

There are specialists in the field of critical care and pulmonology who are using ivermectin successfully in clinical trials for helping to treat COVID-19, but I bet you haven’t heard about them. The “dewormer” label is absurd.
