An owner of Vancouver liquidated-goods store LiquidNation Liquidators said she arrived at her business Wednesday morning to find glass everywhere and $3,000 worth of merchandise stolen.

Jullienne Adams described the break-in at 717 Grand Blvd. as “crushing” to her family-owned business.

“We work really hard to do something for our community,” Adams said. “And it just — it sucks.”

Things were thrown around inside the store and were covered in glass, she said. She was also missing three electric bicycles that had been for sale.

Adams said she’s heard of more and more businesses being burglarized.

The business had cameras installed, she said, but they weren’t recording. Adams is using this as a hard lesson and warns other business owners to be on guard.
