Letter: Don’t tolerate bad service

America is going to the dogs. More than a year ago I stopped going to a well-known fish restaurant on the river. More recently, I complained about the lack of service at a well-known ’50s-style diner on 164th Avenue. The young cashier said “Have a nice day” as I walked. If you leave, so what!

If you are an employee and loathe your job, go live at home. If you are a business and won’t train your staff, close your door or sell to a firm that does care.

Boycott terrible businesses, including the infamous big-box stores. Push them all over the edge.
