The Clark County Open Studios Tour is accepting applications for artists who wish to open their studios for public tours on Nov. 5 and 6. Visual artists working in Clark County in all mediums are encouraged to apply. Applications are due May 31. The tour is open to a wide range of visual media including painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics, wood, metal, glass, fiber arts, jewelry, photography, digital art and printmaking. Artists must exhibit a minimum of 15 pieces of original art, created within the last three years. Applications, which cost $25, should include a brief statement and five digital images (JPGs up to 5 MB) of work created in the last three years, including an image of the studio. The studio must be an active workspace, with materials, equipment and work-in-progress visible. For more details about the application process, see the guidelines at artstra.org/call-for-artists/.
