In honor of National Poetry Month, Oregon poet laureate Anis Mojgani created the Daily Tele-Poems Telephone Line. Every day during the month of April, callers can dial 503-928-7008 to hear poems read by Mojgani and former Oregon poet laureates Paulann Petersen, Kim Stafford and Elizabeth Woody, accompanied by soothing music. Each poetic interlude concludes with “I hope today has found you gently.” April 30 is the last day to call.
