Nominees for Week 25 Northwest Personal Training prep athlete of the week

Voting continues until 7 p.m. Wednesday

Here are the nominees for the Northwest Personal Training Week 25 high school athlete of the week.

Voting will continue until 7 p.m. Wednesday, with results announced in Thursday’s edition of The Columbian.

Winners of the athlete-of-the-week may not be nominated again during the regular season, and no athlete may be nominated in consecutive weeks.

To avoid vote manipulation, voters must provide an email address. Votes are limited to one per day per email address.

Here are the nominees:

DREW HANCOCK, CAMAS BASEBALL: Hancock went 7 for 10 with four runs, four doubles, two walks and an RBI as Camas won two of three from Battle Ground.

BENJAMIN HAYWOOD, UNION BOYS TRACK AND FIELD: The sophomore won the 110 hurdles (15.54 seconds) by 1.63 seconds and the 300 hurdles (42.33) by nearly two seconds as Union won the Vic Downs Mac Invite.

DAVID MOORE, SETON CATHOLIC BOYS SOCCER: Moore had four goals and two assists in two league wins for the Cougars.

SOPHIA REYES, COLUMBIA RIVER SOFTBALL: Reyes went 6 for 8 with four runs, a triple, two home runs and eight RBI in two wins for the Rapids.

JOSIE SETTLE, KELSO GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD: The junior won the high jump (5-0), long jump (17-5.5), triple jump (36-1.5) and was second in the 300 hurdles (47.94) at the Canby Invitational.
