Letter: Vote ‘yes’ for Evergreen schools

By Paul and Deena Warner, Vancouver
Published: April 19, 2022, 6:00am

Please vote “yes” for the Evergreen school levy by April 26. This vote is to continue needed educational support. It’s not a new or additional tax. If the levy doesn’t pass, schools lose teachers, librarians, security, counselors, sports, music, art, theater, Special Ed support, Excel classes, and many more people and programs that make schools function and the education and safety of children possible. With everything kids have gone through lately, don’t do this to them, too. Vote “Yes.” More informative facts here: https://www.evergreenps.org/levy.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
