Frog Ferry project still on despite financial woes

A proposed ferry service in Portland and Vancouver called Frog Ferry hit financial trouble, but it will continue to pursue its project.

The Portland City Council voted not to give Frog Ferry, a nonprofit, a $250,000 grant that would have kept its financial goal on track. Additionally, the nonprofit had trouble with TriMet’s funding due to inconsistencies in Frog Ferry’s invoices, according to TriMet.

Last week, Frog Ferry’s Susan Bladholm said that Frog Ferry would continue the project, despite the challenges.
