Vancouver police locate missing, endangered woman, 75

Update: Carol Jean Rice was found and safely returned home.


Vancouver police are searching for a missing and endangered woman, and are asking for the public’s help in finding her. A Silver Alert has been issued.

Carol Jean Rice, 75, was last seen at about 9 p.m. Monday in the area of Northeast 39th Street and Edmunds Road in east Vancouver.

She was driving a 2006 silver Toyota Corolla four-door sedan with California license plates 5RHT356.

Rice is 5 feet tall and 150 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt and gray pants.

She is considered endangered due to medical conditions that require medication and her mental state.

Anyone with information about Rice’s location should call 911.
