Letter: Medvigy is on the wrong track

According to Clark County Councilor Gary Medvigy, “I don’t think the voters here in Clark County want light rail, and I want to express that I hope that some consideration is given to the desires of the voters that they’re not getting and paying for a bridge that they don’t want.”

For comparison, what I will personally be paying toward the new I-5 Bridge construction will likely be comparable to what I am paying toward Medvigy’s salary and benefits as a county councilor. So it’s fair to suggest that Medvigy is a county council member that myself and other voters in Clark County don’t want. How about another foolish, nonbinding advisory vote at taxpayer expense on both issues?
