Clark County Canvassing Board to examine ballots from Aug. 2 election

The Clark County Canvassing Board will meet at 2 p.m. Friday to examine ballot returns from the Aug. 2 primary and special election. The board will examine ballots, determine the status of voter intent issues and challenged ballots, and perform other canvassing duties.

The board will meet again at 2 p.m. Aug. 16 to certify the primary election results.

Both meetings are open to the public and will be held in the Elections Department conference room at 1408 Franklin St.

The building is wheelchair accessible. Anyone needing special assistance to observe the canvassing board should contact Cathie Garber at 564-397-2345 or use speech-to-speech relay at 800-833-6384. Request should be made at least two business days prior to canvassing day.
