HAPO Community Credit is hosting a back-to-school event from 1-4 p.m. Aug. 21 at 13909 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. in Vancouver. The event will offer activities and resources to families, including a giveaway of 500 back-to-school gift packs for children of income-constrained households.
Comcast, a sponsor for the event, will also be on site to sign people up for the affordable connectivity program, which is a government-sponsored program providing discounted broadband services to low-income households.
