Since joining the Clark County Sheriff’s Office 32 years ago, John Horch has served as patrol deputy, detective, sergeant, Warrants Division, bomb technician, supervisor of Internal Affairs, commander of Search and Rescue, commander of Child Justice Center, commander of Major Crimes Division, commander of Drug Task Force, commander of CCSO Precinct. He is currently chief criminal deputy overseeing all enforcement operations, deputies, sergeants, commanders, SWAT, Internal Affairs and Major Crimes.

In the military, he received the Medal of Merit and Purple Heart.

If Clark County should experience a major emergency, we would be well served to call upon John Horch as our sheriff.
