Letter: Explanation is simple

I think I can clear up any confusion created by George Will’s column “Garland must explain circus in Fla.” (The Columbian, Aug. 14), and use fewer words.

1. Don’t take classified documents home with you.

2. Don’t lie about having classified documents at your home.

3. Don’t ignore repeated requests to return these classified documents.

4. Don’t call it a raid when they finally come to collect these classified documents.

The “Circus in Florida” that Mr. Will attributed to Mr. Garland was solely created by the former president, who has been the ringleader of his own circus for some years now. He still believes he can turn negative press into something he can use to “Raise and Rile” (Raise money and rile up the base).

Like trained tigers, the media and his Republican followers will jump through any hoop he puts before them. Seems like he has done it again!
