Clark County disabilities advisory board seeks members

Clark County is seeking community members to serve on the Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board. Six of the 10 positions on the board are available, each serving a three-year term beginning Jan. 1 and ending Dec. 31, 2025.

Members appointed to the board include those knowledgeable about developmental disabilities or interested in services to persons with developmental disabilities in the community. Individuals with disabilities, family members, those from the business community or other interested individuals are encouraged to apply. There is a specific need for one or more individuals with knowledge or experience related to early support for infants and toddlers or early learning.

Board meetings are currently held in a hybrid format on the first Wednesday of the month.

Those interested should send a letter of interest and résumé to Michelle Pfenning, Clark County Council, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000 or email Michelle.Pfenning@clark.wa.gov.

The application deadline 5 p.m., Dec. 9.
