Letter: Biden is missing the point

I find it most interesting that over 85 percent of voters said that the country was headed in the wrong direction before the midterms of 2022. But the same voters voted to send back the spend, spend Democrat wokers to the Senate. Fortunately, Republicans have regained control of the House. Maybe they can control some of the socialist spendings. But now the Dems are on another spending bill called the omnibus which has thousands of pork-related earmarks.

Does this president have a clue about this economy? I just went to the grocery today and prices are still increasing. And the border crisis is beyond help. Biden stated that there are “more important things going on” than the border. Like what, I ask? Going to so-called summit meetings around the world acting like he is the Messiah of world problems?

The problem that Democrats fail to understand: You cannot spend your way to prosperity. They never have, and never will understand basic economics. Two more years of this president and his lying cabinet is just too much. Oh, and by the way the border is secure. Maybe if a few loads of illegal immigrants were dropped off in front Biden’s house he might get the point.
