Interim Evergreen Public Schools chief remains ‘energized’

Better communication, equity policy among Boyd’s primary goals

John Boyd has yet to see a dull moment in his first few weeks as the interim superintendent of Evergreen Public Schools.

Since his appointment to the role on Dec. 28, Evergreen has dealt with the chaos of the omicron wave, the departure of a board member and, most recently, a levy failure — all following the sudden firing of the district’s previous chief.
