Skyview girls beat Kentwood in 4A bi-district alternate game

Jordan Labrador-Hallett made a layup with 11 seconds to play and Skyview beat Kentwood 45-42 in the 4A bi-district alternate game on Saturday at Auburn.

Skyview will only play in the state regional round if another team is unable due to COVID. Otherwise, the Storm’s season is over at 16-6.

Down by one with 23 seconds to play, Skyview ran its final play to perfection with Labrador-Hallett, who had seven points and five rebounds, getting the go-ahead basket.

Kentwood’s final shot missed at the buzzer.

Skylar Groesbeck led the Storm with 18 points, and Rowyn Riley added 10.
