Letter: Help is here in form of vaccines

By Bob Greenwald, Vancouver
Published: February 20, 2022, 6:00am

As I read the recent article about religious vaccination exemptions (“Unvaccinated medical workers turn to religious exemptions,” Associated Press, Feb. 15), I thought about a comic strip I saw years ago.

The picture of a man and a woman on the roof of their home during a flood. The first picture showed him waving off a helicopter as he said “God will save us.” The next picture was of a man in a boat holding a loudspeaker calling out “I’ve come to help you.” Again the man waved him off and said “God will save us.” In the third picture the man and his wife were in heaven asking God “Why didn’t you save us?” God’s reply was, “I sent you a helicopter and a boat.”

What will be the Lord’s answer to those who refuse to get three shots?
