Letter: Scofflaws like their fireworks

New Year’s is a great day for those who don’t want to follow the law here in Vancouver. A day to illegally shoot off fireworks in the middle of the night. Scare the animals, start fires. Hey why not. Americans have the right to do what they want. Rules are made to be broken, free choice is what it is all about. So take off that mask, go to another booth that sells fireworks so you can shoot off more the night after. Meanwhile, don’t forget to write a “thank you” letter to the Chinese government: they make the best fireworks ever.
