Letter: Accept facts of election

I was amazed to read that state money would be used to listen to a person persisting in the lie about the election of the president.

Also, the fact that Rep. Vicki Kraft spoke against mail-in ballots and the COVID-19 mandates which help to ease the raging pandemic, to me shows a lack of comprehension and understanding. Our mail-in ballots have been very successful. The electoral votes were well tested.

When Hillary Clinton won the popular vote, but lost the electoral votes, she did not sue any state nor cause a terrible riot.

She accepted the laws of this democracy. Unfortunately, the ex-president had an ego that could not accept the defeat, and has many who support him, in spite of the facts.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
