Letter: Cheer for unleashed potential

Quote by T.S. Elliot: “For last year’s words belong to last year’s language, and next year’s words await another voice.”

Who among us is not weary of those who have us focus on the trauma surrounding COVID-19, broadcasting our flaws, or reporting every failure, which has only served to stir up division and keeps us stuck?

Instead let us focus, broadcast, and report on those rising above the chaos, noise, confusion, speaking new narratives that calm, mending fears and cheer for the manifold potential that is ready to be unleashed.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
