As the Legislature meets, they need to revisit the hasty passage last session that gave the tribal casinos exclusive sports-betting rights.
By doing this, the state gets no tax revenues. No other business with millions of dollars in revenue would not be required to pay taxes on what can be seen as a sole-bidder state contract.
