Paytin Ballard of Hudson’s Bay is Northwest Personal Training Week 16 prep athlete of the week

Ballard beat out Olivia Chou of Skyview for honor

Hudson’s Bay basketball player Paytin Ballard is the Northwest Personal Training Week 16 high school athlete of the week.

Ballard outdistanced Skyview gymnast Olivia Chou for the honor.

Ballard scored 21 points and 17 points as the Eagles earned big wins over Hockinson and Washougal.

Here are the final vote tallies

  2. Olivia Chou, Skyview 214
  3. Carson Frawley, Camas 132
  4. Sadie Burrows, Columbia River 112
  5. Sam Empey, Union 26

SADIE BURROWS, COLUMBIA RIVER GIRLS BOWLING: Burrows bowled a 208 and a 217 to lead the Rapids to win over Fort Vancouver.

OLIVIA CHOU, SKYVIEW GYMNASTICS: Chou won the vault, bars and beam en route to taking the all-around with a score of 35.15 in a meet at VEGA.

SAM EMPEY, UNION BOYS SWIMMING: Empey swam a state-qualifying time of 1:57.84 in the 200 individual medley, won the 100 backstroke and helped Union to a pair of relay wins vs. Battle Ground and Prairie.

CARSON FRAWLEY, CAMAS BOYS BASKETBALL: Frawley scored 43, 22, 20 and 19 points in leading the Papermakers to four wins last week.
