Letter: MOB not working in Clark County

By Stephen Schrag, Vancouver

Remember when we had Madore and Mielke on the county council trying to run things, and it really didn’t work? Well now we have the MOB trying to run things and it isn’t working.

Who is the MOB? Well it is Medvigy, O’Brien and Bowerman. It appears to this Clark County resident that they have formed an evil pact to support each other no matter what the issue. Examples are fireworks, criticism of Dr. Melnick, criticism of state mandates on masks, spreading false information on vaccines (that have been approved by the FDA), and criticizing hospitals and health care workers for doing nothing for COVID patients (I suggest the MOB spend a week in a hospital caring for patients).

If the MOB approves the Feb. 1 initiative on masking and vaccination, they will put all county residents at a higher risk for illness and/or death. I hope they take this into account since eventually they will have to explain this to their maker either in heaven or hell.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
