Letter: Keep travelers safe

I’ve been vaccinated and boosted and always wear an N95 mask in public, so I felt relatively safe while vacationing in Cabo San Jose. I tested negative 24 hours before my return flight. Wore my mask the entire four-hour flight back, as did everyone on the plane and followed all the safety protocols throughout customs. And then …

They crammed everyone tightly onto a shuttle bus from the international terminal to the main terminal. Social distancing? About 6 inches. It was an absurd scene, and possibly a deadly scene. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was crime tape around the shuttle.

This needs to change.
