Letter: Vote ‘yes’ on Ridgefield bond

Strong public schools are a foundational pillar in a successful and thriving community. The Ridgefield School District has gone through an extensive process to develop a plan for our rapid growth.

This school bond is smart and well-constructed. It expands much-needed capacity, improves security and safety, and utilizes state match funding. Further, our current school tax rate is among the very lowest in Southwest Washington and will remain there even after this bond.

We all benefit from ensuring the school district is the best it can be. Please join us in voting “Yes” on the February school bond ballot measure.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
