SEATTLE — Weyerhaeuser Co. (WY) on Friday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $416 million.
The Seattle-based company said it had profit of 55 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 49 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 48 cents per share.
The timber and paper products company posted revenue of $2.21 billion in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $2.61 billion, or $3.47 per share. Revenue was reported as $10.2 billion.
