Women rule: Recent additions make Clark County Superior Court better reflect community

Camara Banfield can’t believe she’s the first Black judge and first Black female judge to sit on the Clark County Superior Court bench.

She laments “it’s weird to have a title like that.”

“It’s sad that in 2021, we’re still talking about being the first in these areas,” she said during an interview from her chambers last month.
