Clark County offers rental assistance

Clark County will accept applications for 1,000 households to receive rental assistance, including arrears, beginning at noon July 20.

Links, which will be live at that time, and instructions to apply are below. Once all available referrals have been received, the links will no longer work.

Households may receive assistance only one time. Households that have received assistance previously are not eligible for additional assistance. This program helps households stay in their existing housing; funds cannot be used to move into a new housing unit.

All applicants will receive a submission confirmation email. Anyone who has previously applied for assistance is asked not to apply again, as this delays the processing of applications. Housing providers are working to assist all households that are currently on the waitlist. Tenants must be deemed eligible to receive assistance.

The county is working with rental assistance providers to identify additional rental assistance spots. Additional spots are scheduled to open at noon Dec. 15 and Jan. 5.

Additional information, including the number of available waitlist spots and types, will be made available on the county’s website, social media and the Council for the Homeless website closer to the opening dates.
