The four people shot Sunday at a Vancouver house party were Portland teenagers between the ages of 17 and 19, police said Tuesday. Authorities have not yet released their names.

The party began at about 10 p.m. at a house in the 3600 block of East 11th Street, with 15 to 20 invited guests, according to an update from the Vancouver Police Department. The party grew to more than 70 people by midnight.

At about 1:20 a.m., some partygoers began arguing before the four males were shot, each suffering multiple gunshot wounds, the police department said.

When police responded, one person was pronounced dead and two others were taken to an area hospital. One of the victims died at the hospital, and a fourth arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds, according to police.

The two men who died were an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old, the police department said. A 17-year-old and a 19-year-old remain hospitalized in stable condition as of Tuesday afternoon.

The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the identities of the men who were killed once the police department finishes its investigation. Police have not identified the two wounded victims.

Investigators have no suspect information, and anyone with information is asked to contact Cpl. Neil Martin at 360-487-7423 or the department’s tip line at 360-487-7399.

Vancouver police’s Major Crimes Unit and the Safe Streets Task Force is investigating.
