Letter: Support Steinke for utilities

By Kristin Edmark, Battle Ground
Published: June 21, 2022, 6:00am

As public utility commissioner, Don Steinke will work to maintain low rates and great customer satisfaction.

Steinke will also explore options to make broadband more affordable. The clean-energy transition will create millions of jobs and opportunities for small businesses nationwide and that could happen here, if Clark Public Utilities gets on board.

Let’s not be left behind.

No one is better qualified to serve as a utility commissioner during this time of change. Vote Don Steinke for low rates, economic vitality and great service.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
