As you peruse the Vancouver Farmers Market, now open for the season, you’ll find an unprecedented variety of locally made hot sauces.

Hot sauces with locally grown peppers may seem a bit odd in Vancouver. Hot peppers aren’t typically grown in the Pacific Northwest. Cool temperatures and excess water can cause them to crack.
