Clark County Sheriff’s Office offers sign-on bonuses for deputies

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday it will offer sign-on bonuses of $25,000 and $10,000, depending on experience, for deputies hired in the corrections branch.

For those with current experience, the bonuses will be paid out: $8,000 on first paycheck, $8,500 after probationary period and $8,500 after three years. For new hires without experience, the bonus will be paid: $2,000 on first pay check and $8,000 after training and probationary period.

The enforcement deputy guild is still in collective bargaining with the county.
