Letter: Long live salmon

I was so excited to read about the Steigerwald Refuge reopening, and especially about the river restoration that’s helping restore our salmon. We know that people throughout our community overwhelmingly want to protect this ancient resource; I’m looking forward to seeing Senator Murray and Governor Inslee’s plan to protect salmon that they’re releasing in July. I hope that they build on the progress at Steigerwald and commit to removing the lower Snake River dams. To encourage the senator and governor in this effort, please email them here https://bit.ly/3voL1o1.

Viva la salmon!
