Motorcyclist killed in single-vehicle crash in east Vancouver

A motorcyclist was killed early Monday morning after crashing near the entrance of a mobile home park in east Vancouver.

Vancouver police responded at 5:05 a.m. to the 5100 block of Northeast 121st Avenue in the North Image neighborhood for a single-vehicle crash.

Police department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said the motorcyclist, a 42-year-old man, died at the scene. No one else was injured.

The Vancouver Police Department’s Traffic Unit is investigating.
