Letter: Protect infants, toddlers from COVID

The FDA has been delaying the review and rollout of the Moderna COVID vaccine for children under 5, and I am urging Rep. Vicki Kraft, Rep. Paul Harris and Sen. Lynda Wilson to make a public statement to increase visibility and pressure. My daughter was born during COVID to two parents who were able to get vaccinated, boosted, and approved for a second booster before she has even been able to get her first. With mask mandates nonexistent and vaccine requirements seemingly at their public limit, we are being left behind, putting our young infants and toddlers at risk of infection.

My elected officials must stand up for kids who are being left to fend for themselves during a pandemic that has killed 1 million people in this country.
