Clark County Fire District 3’s annual pancake breakfast is returning in June after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The fire district’s open house and pancake breakfast will be held at 7 a.m. June 4 at the Hockinson Fire Station No. 31. The station is at 17718 N.E. 159th St. in Brush Prairie.

Tickets for the breakfast are $7 per person or $25 for a family and can be purchased at the station or online at bit.ly/3yHhOrD. Debit and credit cards are accepted.

The pancake breakfast fundraiser benefits families and individuals in the community in need. This year, the fire district is dedicating proceeds to Fire District 3 Capt. Andrey Zalozh’s family living in war-torn Ukraine.

Funds raised will help Zalozh’s mother and extended family purchase the basics amidst escalating prices and supply challenges in Ukraine. Online donations to support the Ukrainian family can be made via GoFundMe at bit.ly/3LkayES. Fire District 3 will accept donations until June 6.
