Public comment is open on the Washington State Department of Transportation’s 2023-2026 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program from Nov. 15 to Dec. 14.

More than 1,400 statewide projects included in the program received federal funding or are regionally significant and funded through the Legislature’s Connecting Washington and Move Ahead Washington transportation packages.

Local projects include $80 million for the Interstate 5 Bridge replacement and $50 million for C-Tran to build a third bus rapid transit line along Highway 99 from Salmon Creek to The Waterfront Vancouver.

Written comments can be sent to Nancy Huntley or Steve Ahlsten, WSDOT, P.O. Box 47390, Olympia WA 98504-7390, or emailed to: Hqlpstip@wsdot.wa.gov.
