Firefighters say no one was injured Monday morning when a car crashed into a strip mall restaurant in central Vancouver.

The Vancouver Fire Department and AMR responded at about 9:45 a.m. for a woman who had driven into HAP Steam Healthy Cuisine, 221 N.E. 104th Ave., Suite G-110.

First responders evaluated the driver, who refused treatment, and ensured the building’s structural integrity wasn’t impacted, the fire department said in a news release.

The driver was extricated from the car due to its position to the building’s structural members, firefighters said. The building sustained moderate damage and was turned over to the owner of the complex.
