In our most recent election, I checked off the box next to Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, not as an endorsement of her, but to tally a vote against Joe Kent. Oddly enough, Jaime Herrera Beutler probably would have won against either Perez or Kent one on one. That said, despite the imperfections of our electoral system, Russia and Vladimir Putin remind us of how fortunate we are to have a choice.
